Transcripts

*Note: Course work taken prior to Fall 1995 may not appear on the computer system. These requests may be delayed significantly at this time. If you have questions, please email us at transcripts@lamar.edu.

All updates will be completed by Friday, April 29, 2022 at 12:00 pm.

Physical copies of your transcript can be requested by coming to the Wimberly building room 112 or by emailing us at transcripts@lamar.edu . Transcripts can be printed while you wait or can be mailed to a physical address.

Lamar University students are able to request up to 5 printed transcripts per long semester (fall and spring), and 3 per summer semester. Transcripts are $5 per transcript after the maximum number of transcript requests has been reached.

Lamar Institute of Technology students are able to request up to 3 printed transcripts per long semester (fall and spring), and 2 per summer semester. Transcripts are $5 per transcript after the maximum number of transcript requests has been reached.

Requests made through Parchment are available for current and former students*.

There is no service fee if you are ordering no more than 5 transcripts in a long semester.

To order transcripts online, click the link and log in to Self Service Banner. Please use your Banner ID and your PIN to log in.

Transcripts can be ordered in person in the Wimberly building on the Lamar University Campus. Found on the first floor, room 112. Complete the request form and bring it with you or at the counter. Don't forget your photo ID. Generally, these request can be processed while you wait.

If someone other than the student will be picking up the transcript, their name needs to be included on the transcript request. They will need to present their photo ID at the time of pick-up.

Unofficial transcripts are free. They are given in person in room 112 of the Wimberly building and photo identification is required. Unofficial transcripts will not be faxed. You can also receive a copy of your Lamar University unofficial transcript by going to Self Service Banner. Please use your Banner ID and your PIN to log in.

"Students who are suspended or expelled for non-academic reasons will be ineligible to re-enroll at Lamar University. Until this status changes, these students will have a note on their transcript indicating, “student is ineligible to re-enroll". Texas Education Code § 51.9364. Definitions: The following are defined as such: Suspension – Separation from the university for a definite term during which the student shall not be permitted to earn university credit at Lamar University, be on the university owned property, participate in any university activity, or use any university service. Expulsion – Permanent separation from the university. A student who has been suspended or expelled from any Texas State University System institution shall be ineligible to enroll at any other system institution during the period of suspension or expulsion. In addition to Lamar University, the Texas State University System includes Texas State University, Lamar State College - Port Arthur, Lamar State College-Orange, Lamar Institute of Technology, Sam Houston State University, Sul Ross State University, and Sul Ross State University Rio Grande College.
